Are fiberglass shower pans more susceptible to cracking in pier and beam houses that inevitebly move a bit here and there? My shower pan just cracked and I heard a contractor say fiberglass pans sometimes will crack on pier and beam houses that move a bit.

Can you put automotive 2k clear over the repair paint? What do you think? I damaged one working at customers house & want the best longest lasting result. I've done a lot of cars so i know i can make it blend out.

Couldn't help but notice you were using a spray gun but the product links you've provided lead to aerosol cans. Could you clarify?

How do they hold up after a month....year etc? 1, Bondo isnt waterproof. 2 it should be primed before painted. Although this technique may look good initially, I'd be surprised if it lasted.

When did you use the compression spray gun? I missed that part

Do I need to use the bondo? Or will the fibreglass resin work without the bondo putty?

I'm using Jasco but I had purchased the paint on version. It's not causing it to bubble. This is the 2nd brand I tried. It's really hard to scrape off. 😞

The music is so annoying

The only thing I'd have done differently is I would have scrubbed the grout immediately around the sink BEFORE I painted the sink. Now we run the risk of marring the new paint due to the chemicals and scrubbing that will be required to clean the grout. My guess is this is a flipper or a rental and it just isn't that important.
